about

6SISS is the brainchild of Peter Adriaenssens, not to be confused with the namesake psychiatrist, although his music displays resemblance to psychology: a profound, introspective sound that aims to reach your preconsciousness. The 6SISS guise is a homage to his six sisters.

Peter's illumination comes from classical as well as electronic music, drones, ambient, noise to machines, wildlife, stillness, things that happen when the speakers are turned off. Voices, labored breathing, friction.

On 'Watching the monoliths rise', 6SISS took the raw ingredients of offbeat music, melodic backbones, fragmental vocals, clattering drum patterns and shuffled them to create tracks that felt inventive and unrestricted.
